Your brain produces rhythmic electrical activity, and those rhythms change with your state. Long established, and directly measurable with EEG. Established neuroscience. Human EEG has been recorded since 1924.
Rhythmic light and sound delivered at a steady frequency can guide brain activity toward similar frequency ranges. This is called neural entrainment. Light and sound delivered together are engineered to produce a larger response than either alone. Supported in the published literature on multimodal stimulation. Audio-visual stimulation is studied in research and clinical settings, including randomized, sham-controlled trials. Cited only to show the field is examined at a clinical standard. Those trials use 40 Hz stimulation in a clinical population over months. Our protocols do not deliver 40 Hz stimulation, and this research says nothing about what the Mask does. The Mask

These claims come from one study. Domayn in-lab study, Beijing, February 2026. Single daytime session in a room not set up for sleeping. Self-report n=93. Physiological measures n=71. No placebo condition, no control group.
